The Sala Jazz Festival is not just a high-level musical event: it is a cultural project with a deep commitment to Environmental Sustainability, Social Impact, and Transparent Governance (ESG). These are crucial elements for building a fairer and greener future.
E — Environmental
Our environmental approach focuses on actively offsetting the event's carbon footprint and promoting ecological education among our audience.
Carbon-Positive Initiatives
In alignment with the global sustainability agenda and international climate diplomacy, the Festival will carry out two main actions:
- Planting 100 Native Seedlings: We will plant 100 native tree seedlings in areas determined by the OSCIP (Civil Society Organization of Public Interest) Integrated Atlantic Forest Reforestation Project (PRIMA), directly contributing to the restoration of biodiversity and the absorption of CO2.
- Distribution of 3,000 Seed Kits: Three thousand native tree seed kits will be distributed to the audience present at the shows. This action aims to engage spectators in the environmental agenda, encouraging the creation of new green "lungs" and domestic awareness.
Waste Management and Efficiency
- Promotional Materials: Prioritization of digital dissemination (website, social media, digital flyers, emails, newsletter) and maximum reduction of paper and polluting materials.
- Smart Logistics: Optimization of logistics routes for equipment and artists, aiming to reduce fuel consumption.
S — Social
Social impact is inherent to our cultural DNA, promoting access, education, and exchange.
Access and Inclusion
- Popular Priced Tickets: A significant quota of tickets will be offered at accessible prices, ensuring that high-level concert music is not restricted to an elite audience, thereby promoting the democratization of culture.
- Cultural Exchange: The participation of renowned international and Brazilian artists fosters the exchange of musical and cultural knowledge and strengthens bilateral ties, enriching the artistic scene of Rio de Janeiro.
- Workshops and Talks: Educational activities open to the public, including workshops and musical talks, where artists promote professional development and audience formation.
Equity and Diversity
The project will ensure diversity in the hiring of technical and artistic teams, promoting the inclusion of different genders and ethnicities.
G — Governance
The governance of the Sala Jazz Festival is built on the pillars of transparency, fiscal responsibility, and compliance.

Transparency and Fiscal Responsibility
-
Financial Management: The financial management of the project is conducted with complete rigor by GRUPO PRIORI, which consists of professionals with extensive accounting experience — our partner for over 20 years — with expertise in incentivized projects (Lei Rouanet and Lei do ICMS) to ensure:
-
Full compliance with Brazilian fiscal and tax legislation.
- Transparent and auditable accountability to sponsors and public bodies.
-
- Risk Management: Mapping and mitigation of operational and financial risks, ensuring the Festival is executed with excellence and security.
Use of Tax Incentives
The project is certified under Article 18 of the Rouanet Law for fundraising via Corporate Income Tax (IRPJ), which grants a 100% deduction of the sponsored amount from the tax owed. It will also be eligible for fundraising via the ICMS Tax Law of Rio de Janeiro state. These fiscal mechanisms require the project to adhere to the highest standards of governance and accountability. This structure guarantees the sponsor not only tax benefits but also the security that their investment is being managed correctly and is fully auditable.
