Voice & Guitar / Brazil - Roberto Menescal & Cris Delanno are an iconic duo in Brazilian music. Cris Delanno is a composer, performer, singer, and musician of Brazilian origin—but she was born in Texas and absorbed much of the American music style, integrating, as a soloist, a typically Black choir, the African American Unity Choir. Considered by Andy Summers (The Police) "The Greatest Singer in the World," she is the lead singer of the group BossaCucaNova. Roberto Menescal is a renowned Brazilian composer, musician, arranger, and music producer, considered one of the pioneers and leading names of Bossa Nova.

With a long-standing partnership (more than 38 years), celebrating Bossa Nova—nothing more jazzy than this Brazilian invention—with the recent release of the album "O Lado B da Bossa" in 2025, which explores classics and unreleased songs, uniting generations and the emotion of their voices and guitars on stage, they explore songs that rarely appear on the most popular lists of the genre. These are forgotten gems of bossa nova, revisited with new arrangements and interpretations full of subtlety. The musical and friendly bond between Menescal and Cris is profound, with collaborations dating back to their first album together, "Eu e Cris," in 2003. They represent a fusion of history and contemporary elements in Bossa Nova, with a complicity that makes their work special.
